Avon India elevates Rahul Shanker as new managing director

NEW DELHI: Direct selling firm Avon India on Wednesday said it has elevated Rahul Shanker as its new managing director. Shanker joined Avon in ‘13 as director for sales and strategy and succeeds outgoing managing director Romulus Sirbu, a statement issued by Avon said. Sirbu is moving to head Avon, Malaysia. The US$8 billion Avon sells cosmetics and beauty products. In India, however, it remains a small player.
