Voltas offers new AC models

Voltas on Wednesday announced the launch of five new models of air-conditioners, including a cone-shaped one, which can be installed in corners.

CHENNAI: Voltas on Wednesday announced the launch of five new models of air-conditioners, including a cone-shaped one, which can be installed in corners.

These air-conditioners would consume less power and provide more cooling, Voltas vice-president Pradeep Bakshi told reporters here.

The company had invested Rs 60 crore for research and development of the new models, he said. Mr Bakshi claimed that the cone-shaped air-conditioner was the first in the country.
