Videocon to consider raising Rs 1500 cr on Dec 18
Leading electronics firm, Videocon Industries Ltd on Wednesday said an Extra Ordinary General Meeting (EGM) will be held on December 18 to consider raising Rs 1500 crore through issue of securities.

MUMBAI: Leading electronics firm, Videocon Industries Ltd on Wednesday said an Extra Ordinary General Meeting (EGM) will be held on December 18 to consider raising Rs 1500 crore through issue of securities.
The EGM would consider and pass a resolution authorising the board of directors to raise the amount through issue of securities other than warrants, which are convertible into equity shares under Qualified Institutional Placement, Videocon Industries informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
This is in super session of the resolution passed on June 26, at an Extra Ordinary General Meeting of the shareholders.
Shares of the company were trading at Rs 439, up marginally 0.09 per cent on the BSE.
