V-Guard Industries strengthens geyser product line

KOLKATA: Leading consumer electrical and electronics major V-Guard Industries Ltd (rpt) V-Guard Industries Ltd today launched a new range of water heaters for greater penetration in the Rs 1,000-crore organised market.

"We have launched a new series of water heaters - Pebble and the first to use engineered polymer anti-corrosion technology in India for 100 per cent rust resistance," company's VP marketing Deepak Augustine said here today.

"We have a national marketshare of 20 per cent in the Rs 800-1000 crore geyser market and we are hopeful to penetrate deper with the new series," he added.

The West Bengal is a Rs 100 crore water heater market and of which organised sector has a share of Rs 55 crore and V-Guard has a marketshare of 16 per cent, GM east R K Bhattacharjee said.

The company said V-Guard is among the few companies which has complete manufacturing facilities of water heaters.
