Usha International FY07 net up 38 pc
Usha International on Monday posted 38 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 14.28 crore for the financial year ended March 31, compared to Rs 10.37 crore in the previous year.

NEW DELHI: Usha International on Monday posted 38 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 14.28 crore for the financial year ended March 31, compared to Rs 10.37 crore in the previous year.
Total turnover of the company grew 22 per cent at Rs 661 crore for the fiscal from Rs 541 crore last year, a company statement said.
As per the consolidated financial results of Usha International and its subsidiaries, the net profits increased to Rs 18.29 crore this year from Rs 13.68 crore last year.
The company manufactures fans, sewing machines, home appliances, agricultural and domestic engines, motors and pumps, ACs, generators and auto component.
The growth has been registered across all product groups, it said.
