Surya Roshni to invest Rs 150 cr in expanding capacity

INDORE: Lighting products and steel pipe manufacturer Surya Roshni on Wednesday said it will invest Rs 150 crore in expanding the capacity of its manufacturing plant located at Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh.

"We will expand our capacity in Madhya Pradesh unit by investing Rs 150 crore in the current fiscal," Surya Roshni Chairman and Managing Director J P Agrawal told reporters here.

While announcing the launch of more products from the company's portfolio, Agrawal said Surya Roshni currently has 25 per cent share in the market for lighting products in the state.

Surya Roshni has a lighting manufacturing unit in Malanpur industrial area near Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh.
