OnePlus Summer Launch: New Nord 4, Watch 2R, and more unveiled; All you need to know

At the Summer Launch event in Milan, Italy, OnePlus unveiled a range of new devices, broadening their offerings in smartphones, wearables, earphones, and tablets. The newly introduced products include the OnePlus Nord 4 smartphone, Nord Buds 3 Pro true wireless stereo (TWS) earphones, Watch 2R smartwatch, and Pad 2 tablet.

OnePlus Nord 4: New Mid-Range Smartphone
The highlight of the event was the OnePlus Nord 4, a mid-range smartphone featuring a metal unibody design and powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3 chipset. The device boasts a 6.47-inch Super Fluid AMOLED display with a 2772x1240 pixel resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and a 93.5% screen-to-body ratio.


Available in two variants—8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB—the Nord 4 runs on Android 14 with OxygenOS 14.1, promising four years of Android updates and six years of security updates. It features a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP Sony LYTIA main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, both with OIS, and a 16MP front camera. The device is equipped with a 5,500mAh battery supporting 100W fast charging.

Enhanced Audio with Nord Buds 3 Pro
OnePlus also introduced the Nord Buds 3 Pro TWS earphones. These earbuds feature hybrid active noise cancellation (ANC) and are available in Starry Black and Soft Jade. They offer up to 44 hours of music playback with the charging case and 12 hours on a single charge with ANC off. A 10-minute charge provides up to 11 hours of playback. The earbuds come with IP55 dust and water resistance, dual connection support, and Google’s Fast Pair functionality, featuring 12.4 mm drivers for deep bass and detailed sound output.

Affordable Smartwatch: OnePlus Watch 2R
The OnePlus Watch 2R is an affordable addition to OnePlus's wearable lineup. Running on WearOS, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 chipset with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The watch features a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a 466x466 pixel resolution and 1000 nits peak brightness. It supports over 100 workout modes, heart rate monitoring, SpO2 tracking, and has an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. The 500mAh battery offers up to 4 days of usage with fast charging support.

OnePlus Pad 2: High-Performance Tablet
Completing the lineup is the OnePlus Pad 2, which features a 12.1-inch 3K display with a 3000x2120 pixel resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, the tablet offers up to 16GB of RAM and three storage options: 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. Running Android 14 with OxygenOS 14 for Pad, it includes a 13MP main camera and an 8MP front camera. The Pad 2 is powered by a 9,510mAh battery with 67W fast charging support and features quad speakers, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and optional accessories like the OnePlus Stylo 2 and OnePlus Smart Keyboard.
