Murali Sivaraman is CEO designate of Philips

MUMBAI: Philips India on Monday named Murali Sivaraman as CEO designate (Indian sub-continent) of Philips Electronics India Limited (PEIL).

He succeeds K Ramachandran who retires in October after a 14-year stint at Philips, a statement issued here said.

Both Ramachandran and Sivaraman will work closely together till September to ensure a smooth and seamless transition.

Sivaraman comes to Philips after a 20-year stint at ICI and over the past 11 years has held several country head positions including Managing Director, ICI Paints (Singapore) and more recently as President, ICI Canada.
