Mahindra unveils new range of UPS and inverter batteries

HYDERABAD: Mahindra Powerol, part of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, today launched the new range of UPS and inverter batteries aiming at office, retail and household segments.

The higher range of HUPS -2.5kVA, 3.5kVA -will cater to independent houses to power air conditioners, small offices, retail outlets, showrooms, call centers, petrol pumps, medical clinics and restaurants.

"New UPS range will broaden the scope of Mahindra Powerol's business to include the office and retail segments in addition to the household segment, said P Palaniappan, Business Head, Mahindra Powerol.

He said the products currently available in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra and Bihar shall be launched in the entire country by 2014.
