Komamura Corporation is interested in making lenses and cameras in India and would explore the possibility of setting up operations in Andhra Pradesh.

HYDERABAD: Japan's Komamura Corporation is interested in making lenses and cameras in India and would explore the possibility of setting up operations in Andhra Pradesh in this regard, a government release said.

The company's President Toshiyuki Komamura conveyed this to the Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at a meeting in Japan, an official release issued by the state government said here.

"The company is also exploring the possibility of exporting its equipment to other parts of world from Andhra Pradesh," it said.

Komamura operates in the optics space and manufactures view/technical cameras, pro-digital photo equipment and pro-broadcasting equipment, it added.
