Japanese consumer goods firm Sony today said its Indian subsidiary is aiming for a 50 per cent growth at Rs 2,850 crore this festive season compared to the same period last year.

MUMBAI: Japanese consumer goods firm Sony today said its Indian subsidiary is aiming for a 50 per cent growth at Rs 2,850 crore this festive season compared to the same period last year.

"We expect sales revenue of Rs 2,850 crore, during the September to November period from the Indian market and aspire to achieve 50 per cent sales growth over last year's festive sales.

"We have also allocated a budget of Rs 150 crore during the period towards marketing activities for this festive season," Sony India Managing Director Kenichiro Hibi said in a statement issued here.

The company will also offer zero percent finance processing fee, to attract more customers during the season.
