Incap plans three-fold capacity expansion

BANGALORE: Incap Contract Manufacturing Services, a subsidiary of Incap Corporation, Finland, will be trebling the capacity of its automatic printed circuit board (PCB) assembly plant in Tumkur, Karnataka.

The company also plans to construct another factory building to supplement the existing infrastructure. Earlier this year in May, Incap acquired the unit in Tumkur from TVS Electronics for 7.4 million euros.

The assembly plant employs over 220 people and specialises in manufacturing electronic components and box-build products, such as power supplies and medical electronics.

The unit is expected to register revenue of 6 million euros for June-December period.
