From India to the world: CP PLUS sets the bar high for global surveillance solutions

Jagan Mohan Reddy, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, inaugurated this facility. With this new unit, the brand has tripled its production capacity and now creates three million surveillance units monthly.


The prowess of technology has been leveraged; the all-new state-of-the-art SMT lines, semi-robotic assembly and packaging lines have been integrated into the unit. A lot of care has gone into designing this facility. ESD flooring has been used for the production area to ensure a dust-free and air-conditioned environment for smooth production.

This manufacturing unit is also equipped with reliability test equipment to ensure the optimum quality of products and also to qualify for certifications needed for tenders and varied government organisations.

On this new milestone in the company’s growth story, Aditya Khemka, Managing Director of CP PLUS, conveyed his determination to make India truly self-reliant, “Continuously expanding on our capabilities, we are set to turn India into a powerhouse for the world, where soon enough we can cater to the global demands and needs with solutions developed indigenously in India. Moving ahead, we are also investing heavily to create R&D hubs and offshore development centers across the country to flood overseas markets with made-in-India products. The aim is to rapidly increase the local content in manufacturing and go another mile in the localisation and indigenisation process of CCTV manufacturing in India!”

This facility will also usher in more employment due to backward integration, high-volume production and exports. This is a potential-filled opportunity for women as the brand’s current workforce comprises a significant number of women.
