NEW DELHI: With the Union budget for 2015-16 round the corner, the electrical & energy sector is ready with its wish-list, hoping for a favourable treatment from the new government.

The new government is very supportive of industrial growth. If this can be supported with tax reforms like the implementation of Goods and Service Tax ( GST); it would stimulate and foster investment and build a sustainable business environment for all the players, said Dinesh Aggarwal, Jt. Managing Director, Anchor Electricals Pvt. Ltd.

He further said that he is hopeful that the upcoming Budget would focus on recommendations like 0% Customs Duty for project imports in the power, electrical & energy sector.
