BEL hands over spacecraft components to ISRO

MUMBAI: State-run Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) on Thursday said it has handed over two space-qualified components to Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).
The company has handed over two flight model travelling wave tubes and space-qualified components that are used in communication satellites to ISRO, BEL informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The components were designed and developed jointly by BEL, ISRO Satellite Centre and Central Electronic Engineering Research Institute (CEERI), the company added.
BEL shares closed at Rs 1815.15, up 1.24 per cent on the BSE.
