The new company, which began commercial operations in FY25, also provides manufacturing support, procurement assistance and global support services to Apple group companies. Revenue from manufacturing support nearly doubled to ₹520 crore in FY26 from ₹282 crore a year earlier, according to its latest regulatory filings.
A direct subsidiary of the global flagship Apple Inc, Apple Operations India's total revenue from these activities exceeded ₹1,400 crore in FY26, compared with ₹318 crore in FY25, while net profit nearly quadrupled to ₹103 crore from ₹28 crore, the company's filings made with the Registrar of Companies (RoC) showed. "Apple Operations India's revenue growth appears to reflect a broader restructuring of Apple's Indian operations, rather than just organic expansion and manufacturing," said Mohit Yadav, founder of business intelligence firm AltInfo.

The emergence of software development and project-management services as revenue-generating activities in FY26 - after zero revenue from these segments the previous year - points to a widening of the Indian operation's role within Apple's global ecosystem, Yadav said. "These transactions suggest Apple may be positioning Apple Operations India as a major global engineering and support hub," Yadav said.
The filings show that about 97% of Apple Operations India's business was undertaken for Apple's global operations, including Apple Operations International and Apple Inc. Its stated principal activities include manufacturing support, global support services, procurement support, software development and project management for group companies.
