Apple has opened sales of its 2026 fall lineup in India, with the iPhone 18 Pro series, AirPods 5, Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4 now available to customers. Despite the high prices, Apple stores saw queues in several cities as buyers turned up to get the latest iPhones on launch day.
However, the iPhone Duo, Apple's first foldable iPhone, will not be available in India from today. It will be available later, with pre-orders opening on October 16 and sales starting October 23.
The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are the headline launches in Apple's new lineup. Both models come in black, silver, glacier and a new burgundy finish and feature Apple's A20 Pro chip.
In India, pre-orders for the iPhone 18 Pro models began on September 12, with sales starting September 18.
The 512GB variant is priced at Rs 1,89,900, while the 1TB model costs Rs 2,39,900. The top-end 2TB variant is priced at Rs 3,14,900.
The iPhone 18 Pro Max price in India starts at Rs 1,79,900 for 256GB.
Its 512GB version costs Rs 2,04,900, while the 1TB and 2TB variants are priced at Rs 2,54,900 and Rs 3,29,900, respectively.
A buyer from Noida said he bought two iPhone 18 Pro Max models after travelling from Punjab. “I bought two iPhone 18 Pro Max. I came from Punjab and have been standing in the queue since 6 AM. Mine was the very first booking; I am the first one who has got the phone...,” he told ANI.
Another customer, Rahul, in Bengaluru told ANI he had been waiting since around 5 AM. “I've been here since around 5 AM. There was a long queue. People from Haryana, Delhi, and Mumbai are here just to buy the iPhone. I've been purchasing iPhones for a very long time. I remember my first iPhone was an iPhone 7. Since then, I've been continuously buying iPhones... iPhone launch is like a festival. Every year, I try to buy an iPhone...”
With the iPhone 18 Pro series, iPhone Duo, AirPods 5 and new Apple Watch models now available, Apple's latest lineup brings its biggest product launches of the year to Indian customers.

In India, iPhone Duo pre-orders will begin at 5:30 PM IST on October 16, with the device set to become available from October 23.
The iPhone Duo is priced at Rs 2,99,900 in India. Apple is also offering the device from Rs 48,817 per month with instant cashback and No Cost EMI, subject to applicable terms.
The device features a 7.6-inch inner Super Retina XDR display and a 5.4-inch outer display.
When unfolded, Apple says the iPhone Duo is the thinnest iPhone. It is powered by the A20 Pro chip and comes with an advanced camera system, all-day battery life and new multitasking features.
The foldable iPhone will also support dual-display experiences through iOS 27, Apple Intelligence and Siri AI
The company says the new earbuds can remove up to 50% more outside noise than AirPods 4 with ANC.
AirPods 5 also feature a new acoustic design and Adaptive EQ, along with hands-free Siri AI, Live Translation and Siri Interactions through head movements.

The Wireless Charging Case version offers up to five hours of listening time with ANC. The case also gets volume controls on the stem.
In India, AirPods 5 pre-orders began on September 9, with availability starting September 18.
Both models feature the Health Sensing System and S11 chip. They offer heart rate sensing, more frequent heart rate and heart rate variability readings, along with a new readiness score.
The Apple Watch Series 12 offers up to 24 hours of battery life.
The Apple Watch Ultra 4 offers up to 50 hours of battery life and can track outdoor workouts for up to 45 hours.
Pre-orders for both watches in India started on September 9, with availability beginning September 18.
