Xerox India to double channel partners
Xerox is looking at doubling its channel partners in India from the current 1,500 in next three years.

NEW DELHI: Document processing products manufacturer Xerox on Tuesday said it was looking at doubling the number of channel partners in India from current 1,500 in the next three years besides launching a range of products to suit demand of Indian customers.
Currently, Xerox serves the Indian market through Chennai-based Redington and Delhi-based eSys who are the key distributors providing Xerox products to channel partners across India along with other regional distributors.
"With an aim to strengthen presence in the domestic market, we plan to increase the current number of 1,500 channel partners to 3,000 in next three years based on territory segmentation," Xerox India Managing Director Andrew Horne said at the CII Marketing Summit here.
He said the company will also launch around 25-30 new products in India to suit the needs of the consumers.
With a focus on forging new partnerships, Xerox was aiming to expand its India operations by leveraging the existing distribution channel of its partners.
Xerox manufactures and sells a wide variety of office and production equipment including photo copiers, printers, fax machines, black and white copiers and markets software such as DocuShare Xerox MarketPort and FlowPort, offers consulting services, printing outsourcing and other products.
