Standard Electricals announces its foray into domestic fan market

KOCHI: Standard Electricals, a brand of Havells India Ltd, has announced its foray into the domestic fan market by launching 12 new models of fans in Kochi.

Standard until now was manufacturing and selling domestic and industrial switchgears and domestic cables. The distribution network of standard products will be enhanced to 100 distributor/dealers and 1000 retailers in the next one year.

The new range of fans will be manufactured in the integrated fan unit of the company at Haridwar. The company has set a revenue target of Rs 100 crore in the first year of operation.

Narendra Choudhary, Sr Vice President, Havells India Ltd pointed out that Standard brand’s contribution is all set to increase from Rs 300 crore to Rs 600 crore in the next 3 years.
