Srithai Superware to set up manufacturing plant in India
As part of its growth strategy, Srithai Superware India intends to delve deeper into India’s smaller cities and towns by having a varied price range to suit all pockets.
The Indian plant is a 100% subsidiary of the company and will involve an initial investment of Rs 57 crore. Total investment for setting up four plants in the next 10 years will be Rs 229 crore. The factory will commence operations in 2015, said the company sources.
As part of its growth strategy, Srithai Superware India intends to delve deeper into India’s smaller cities and towns by having a varied price range to suit all pockets. The company also plans to export the products to neighbouring/South-Asian countries, once the manufacturing unit is operational.
Talking about their plant, Sanan Angubolkul, chairman and president, Srithai Superware PCL, said, “By having a manufacturing unit in India, we are expecting exponential growth in the business, as customers can get the products faster and at better prices. We aim to add culinary delight to your dishes and dining through our high-end servingware.”
