PSL FZE receives $45 mn order from Japanese company

PSL, a manufacturer of high-grade pipes, on Tuesday said its international subsidiary PSL FZE, based in Sharjah, has received an order worth USD 45 million for steel pipes from Japan-based Hanwa Co Ltd.


MUMBAI: PSL, a manufacturer of high-grade pipes, on Tuesday said its international subsidiary PSL FZE, based in Sharjah, has received an order worth USD 45 million for steel pipes from Japan-based Hanwa Co Ltd.

PSL FZE shall be supplying pre-coated piling pipes, totalling 60 km in length and fabricated from steel along with anti-corrosion coating, for the water home project at the Palm Beach Housing Complex of Dubai-based Al Nakheel Properties, a statement said.

The pipes are to be supplied for the Palm Jebel-Ali project, involving Hanwa Co Ltd, it added.

"The production against this order is expected to commence shortly and is required to be completed within next 12 months," PSL Managing Director Ashok Punj stated in the release.
