Peps Industries plans to open 100 sleep stores

Peps Industries, the Coimbatore-based mattress manufacturing company, is planning to open 100 sleep stores throughout the country.

The company has targeted a turnover of Rs 120 crore in the current fiscal. K Madhavan, managing director, Peps Industries Pvt Ltd has signed MoU for long term technology transfer with US based Restonic Corporation. The new agreement will be for a period of 25 years.

Mr Madhavan said that the inner spring mattress that the company manufacturers represent the high end of the mattress market in the country. The mattress is sold with a warrantee for 10 years, he added.

He said that the company would set up 20 sleep stores in Kerala while the remaining 80 stores would be spread across the country. "We expect to see a major growth in the next fiscal", he added.
