Morf India to hawk Kelvinator water purifiers

Electrolux today entered into a marketing licence with Morf India under which the latter will sell Kelvinator range of water purifiers.

MUMBAI: The Videocon group firm Electrolux today entered into a marketing licence with Morf India under which the latter will sell Kelvinator range of water purifiers and air purifiers in the country and Sri Lanka.

The US-based Kelvinator has a strong presence in the home appliances category and is owned by Electrolux in the country, which in turn was bought over by the Dhoots of the Videocon Group in 2005.

As per the agreement, Morf will sell the Kelvinator brand products initially in the South and roll it out on a pan-India basis by 2013, the companies said in a joint statement.
