GE, Eureka Forbes form JV for manufacturing water purifier
GE Water & Processing Technologies on Thursday said it has tied up with the Eureka Forbes to form a joint venture -Infinite Water Solutions Pvt Ltd (IWS) - to manufacture and sell water purifiers in the domestic market.

NEW DELHI: GE Water & Processing Technologies on Thursday said it has tied up with the Eureka Forbes to form a joint venture -Infinite Water Solutions Pvt Ltd (IWS) - to manufacture and sell water purifiers in the domestic market.
The JV would manufacture and sell products and technology solutions through Eureka Forbes extensive sales network, a company statement said.
IWS would manufacture GE's reverse osmosis membranes at its residential water purification membrane manufacturing facility in Dehra Dun, Uttrakhand.
"The Joint venture will place Eureka Forbes Ltd in a close relationship with GE, leveraging the complimentary skills of both organisations to create a powerful presence in the domestic market," Eureka Forbes Vice Chairman and Managing Director Suresh Goklaney said.
GE and Eureka Forbes are also exploring other opportunities to jointly serve customers, especially in segments where Eureka has significant presence, GE said in a release.
Eureka Forbes, a subsidiary of Shapoorji Pallonji Group, is a leading manufacturer of water purification systems, vacuume cleaners and air purification systems in the country.
