Carrier Midea to produce its entire range in India; to hold on to prices
Carrier Midea India is going to manufacture its entire range of residential air-conditioners in its facility in Haryana this year.
The company has launched its line-up for this year. Krishan Sachdev, managing director at Carrier Midea said the new range offers extensive air-conditioning solutions for all type of requirements across all consumer segments.
“Our focus on localization along with cost innovation has helped Carrier Midea India absorb the negative impact of increased input costs and fluctuating foreign exchange to offer products with superior features and Carrier’s unmatched quality at competitive prices similar to those offered in the year 2015,” he said.
Carrier Midea India is a joint venture between Carrier and Midea. 190 countries. The company has exclusive rights to manufacture and sell Carrier and Midea brand air-conditioners in India, as well as sell other Midea brand home appliances.
