Aristocrat Q1 net up at Rs 1.72 cr

Aristocrat Luggage Limited on Monday posted a net profit of Rs 1.72 crore in the first quarter ended June 30, an increase of 284 per cent from the corresponding period last year.

MUMBAI: Aristocrat Luggage Limited on Monday posted a net profit of Rs 1.72 crore in the first quarter ended June 30, an increase of 284 per cent from the corresponding period last year.

Net sales increased 51 per cent at Rs 28 crore as against Rs 18 crore in the year-ago period.

"The strength of our business model gives us the opportunity to invest in our business, allowing us to maintain and grow our market," company's Managing Director Sudhir Jatia said.
