Leading home grown air-conditioner contract manufacturer Amber Group has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with South Korea’s, Korea Circuit, a YoungPoong group co. This MoU is signed through a recent venture, Ascent Circuits, to manufacture flex, HDI, and semiconductor substrates PCBs, fortifying PCB manufacturing in India.

This association will provide solutions to the mobile and semiconductor industry. It will cover the entire requirement of PCBs for various applications in India’s electronics manufacturing growth story, that includes HDI, Flex, Semiconductor substrate, Multilayer, Double sided, Single sided.

Korea Circuit has developed PCB solutions with applications ranging from mobile, IT, semiconductors, home appliances, consumer electronics, aerospace & defence, medical, energy solutions, automotive, telecom, data centres etc.


Amber Group has three business verticals: consumer durables, electronics (EMS) and railway subsystems & mobility. The MoU with Korea Circuit and the acquisition of majority stakes in the Amber Circuits is in sync with the government’s 'Atma Nirbhar Bharat' vision, the company said.
