Stock broking firm Ventura Securities today opened its first online branch, coinciding with the launch of an online trading platform here.

BANGALORE: Stock broking firm Ventura Securities today opened its first online branch, coinciding with the launch of an online trading platform here.
Ventura is present in over 200 locations, having a client base of more than 50,000, and the Bangalore branch is its first in the south, company CEO and Director Hemant Majethia told reporters here.
He said online trading terminal "Pointer" would offer, among other things, news and its effects on economy and stock markets, trading strategy and specific companies.
Customer can view complete transaction details on the web, where updated transactions and mutual fund portfolio would be given on a daily basis. Daily commodity pointer, SMS trading calls, detailed research report and technical analysis would also be provided, he said.
