Rewards-based payment network Twid has onboarded Monica Jasuja as chief growth and partnership officer.

In her new role, Jasuja will spearhead the company's issuer growth strategy and drive expansion through partnerships aimed at expanding market reach, user base, and revenue streams, Twid said in a statement on Wednesday.

She has 23 years of experience in consumer, internet and digital financial services across the US, Taiwan, India, Indonesia, and Singapore, and has worked at Fortune 150 companies and tech startups. She serves on the boards of the Merchant Risk Council and Global Impact Fintech Forum and is an ambassador for the Emerging Payments Association of Asia.

"Monica’s track record in digital financial solutions and her understanding of the industry will be assets for us as we accelerate our issuer growth trajectory," said Amit Koshal, Twid cofounder and CEO.

"I look forward to driving growth through collaboration and partnership," said Jasuja.

Founded in 2020 by Amit Koshal (cofounder and CEO), Rishi Batra (cofounder and COO), and Amit Sharma (cofounder and CTO), Twid has built a rewards-based payment network turning reward points into a fully fungible currency that can be used for anything, anywhere. The company received Series A funding of $12 million led by Rakuten Capital and Google.
