PNB Housing to scout for new CEO internally and externally as Girish Kousgi steps down

Kolkata: PNB Housing Finance will consider both internal and external candidates to fill the top position in the company to replace outgoing managing director and chief executive officer Girish Kousgi, the company said in an analysts call Monday.

In the meantime, Jatul Anand, who was promoted as executive director last week, will be in charge, the company said in a hurriedly arranged call on Monday morning.

The company has also designated Valli Sekar, another function head, as chief business officer in charge of affordable business.


Both the officials took up the new responsibilities from August 2.

The share price of the company fell another 3.64% Monday to Rs 778.65 on BSE after nosediving more than 17% Friday following the resignation of Kousgi.
