Overseas Kashmiris launch fund for KP families in J&K

A group of Kashmiris living overseas has launched a heritage fund to support families of Kashmiri Pandits in the Valley.

JAMMU: A group of Kashmiris living overseas has launched a heritage fund to support families of Kashmiri Pandits in the Valley.

"We have recently launched a Kashmir Heritage Fund which is aimed at supporting families of Kashmiri Pandits in the Valley and restoring our heritage sites there," President Kashmiri Overseas Association (KOA), California, Pradumon Tickoo said on Sunday.

In this regard, KOA had organised two national camps (East and West Coast) this year and raised over $70,000 to held sponsor children's education of the Kashmiri Pandits, providing medical assistance to needy families in India and to support the newly-launched Kashmir Heritage Fund.
