NTPC signs Rs 490 crore loan agreement with Central Bank

NTPC has signed a term loan agreement for Rs 490 crore with Central Bank of India. It will be utilised to part finance the capital expenditure of NTPC.

NEW DELHI: Country's largest power producer, NTPC has signed a term loan agreement for Rs 490 crore with Central Bank of India.

The loan has a tenure of 15 years and will be utilised to part finance the capital expenditure of NTPC.

The loan facility has been extended at the base rate of the bank, which is the bare minimum rate at which a bank can lend, an official statement said.
