A book co-authored by a prominent NRI banker, with an aim to provide practical guidance to people seeking solutions to international trade finance.

LONDON: A book co-authored by a prominent NRI banker, with an aim to provide practical guidance to people seeking solutions to international trade finance, has been released here.

"International Trade Finance, A Pragmatic Approach" authored jointly by Arun Kumar Trivedi, Vice President and Chief Representative of Indusind Bank, London and Tarsem Bhogal, an academic, hopes to address the needs of the global trading system, according to the author.

Speaking at the release this weekend, Trivedi, a Fellow of the Securities Investment Institute, London, said, "The book is expected to meet needs of the global trading system undergoing a period of transition."

According to experts, few books on the subject of international trade finance offered real practical guidance like this book and none with such extensive and detailed coverage.

Complicated implementation issues are addressed in a clear and comprehensive fashion, making it an essential book for navigating solutions to international trade finance.

While Bhogal is a Fellow of the Institute of Financial Accountants, Trivedi is Fellow of the Indian Institute of Banks and Life Member, Indian Society for Training and Development, New Delhi.
