Morgan Stanley appoints two top portfolio managers

Morgan Stanley Investment Management on Wednesday announced two senior appointments to its India investment team.

MUMBAI: Morgan Stanley Investment Management on Wednesday announced two senior appointments to its India investment team.

Jayesh Gandhi and Navneet Munot have become lead portfolio managers for the Indian multi-cap equity and multi-strategy products respectively, a release from the investment firm said here.

Gandhi has over 12 years of experience in investment management and research. In his previous role with Birla Sun Life AMC, he managed equity assets in excess of USD 600 million, predominantly in the multi-cap/mid-cap area.

Prior to this assignment, Munot was the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of fixed income and hybrid funds at Birla Sun Life AMC where he was responsible for managing over USD 3.5 billion across money market, bond and hybrid markets, the release added.
