Microfinance: Recovery after the ravages

Three years after the Andhra Pradesh crisis tore through microfinance, the sector is on the mend. The Bharat Microfinance Report 2013, the annual sector survey conducted by Sa-Dhan, an association of community development finance institutions, shows microfinance institutions are slowly growing again, attracting more funds, deepening beyond the South and becoming prudent.
