Mahrukh Adajania named IDFC director

NEW DELHI: IDFC Ltd, India’s leading infrastructure finance company, has announced the appointment of Mahrukh Adajania as Director in the Equity Research team of IDFC Securities.

Mahrukh brings with her over 20 years of experience in the field of equity research with a special focus on the banking sector in equity research. She will report to Shirish Rane, Head of Research, IDFC Securities, as lead analyst covering the financial services sector. Mahrukh has been successful in building strong corporate relationships which is demonstrated by the superior ratings she has received in both internal client rankings & in various external surveys (Asiamoney & Institutional Investor), said a press release.

Prior to IDFC, she was working with Standard Chartered Securities as a lead analyst tracking Indian banks, finance companies and insurance. Her previous experience includes stints at Nomura India, UBS India, JP Morgan & Kotak Securities.
