Khandwala Group forays into retail home finance segment

AHMEDABAD: KIFS (Khandwala Group) has entered into retail home finance segment and help people in realizing dream of ‘Home of their Own’. The company expects to provide retail home finance services in more than 1,000 cities and towns with more than 100 branches and take its portfolio to Rs 2,000 crore by 2019-20, it said in a statement.

KIFS is providing retail home finance services in 40 districts and 300 taluka places in four states – Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh – with four regional branches and 15 sub-branches.

Swarnapal Singh Bais, Joint MD of KIFS Housing Finance, said, “We will continuously work towards providing housing finance to economically poor and lower income group in Gujarat through opening up more branches so that they can buy their own home. The company will strive to achieve new milestones and bring in paradigm shift in Western India. We will focus on providing housing finance to economically weaker section and lower income group to boost Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s mission of Housing for All by 2020.”


The company also plans to enter in banking sector in future, the press statement issued on Tuesday said.
