Universal Sompo ties-up with J&K finance corporation

BENGALURU: Universal Sompo General Insurance Company has tied up with Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh Finance Corporation.

The finance corporation operates in the territory of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh, and provides financial assistance to small and medium enterprises, among others, the insurance firm said in a press release. Corporation's managing director Rajesh Kumar Shavan said the partnership with Universal Sompo would add value to its customers by offering insurance covers at competitive rates.

Universal Sompo chief executive Sharad Mathur said his firm would provide customized general insurance solutions and innovative products for the MSME sector.
