ICICI Bank bags award for rural marketing

Private sector lender, ICICI Bank, has bagged the 'Best Rural Marketing Initiative' Award for its unique campaign on rural marketing, Kamdhenu.

MUMBAI: Private sector lender, ICICI Bank, has bagged the 'Best Rural Marketing Initiative' Award for its unique campaign on rural marketing, Kamdhenu.

The award was received by ICICI Bank's Deputy General Manager (BMAG), Roopesh Kajrolkar, at a recently-held function hosted by the Rural Marketing Association of India, a press release said here on Monday.

The Kamdhenu campaign, a unique high-impact marketing and sales campaign through a short-film on the cattle loan, ran for 150-days across five states, touching around 10,000 potential customers with an objective to promote rural marketing, the release said.

A total of 10 awards were distributed in five different categories for marketing campaigns conducted in villages with population below 20,000 and in villages and towns with population over 20,000 and 1-lakh population, it said.
