Hyderabad Angels gears up to step up investments; appoints Sushanto Mitra as operations head

As Hyderabad Angels gears up to step up investments it has appointed Sushanto Mitra to head its operations. Mitra was the CEO of IIT Bombay’s technology business incubator, Society for Innovation & Entrepreneurship ( SINE).

The network, which counts Andhra Pradesh based entrepreneurs like AppLabs and Sricapital Founder Sashi Reddi among its members, has already invested in four earlystage startups and is evaluating twelve companies for investment. Earlier this year the network, which was launched in 2010, invested `2 crore each in education startup, Edutor, and in Mumbai-based Green India Building Systems and Services.
