MUMBAI: Franklin Templeton Capital Safety Fund net asset value under five-year plan was Rs 10.0925 per unit as on May 31, Franklin Templeton Asset Management said Friday.
The NAV of its three-year plan was Rs 10.1646 per unit. Both the plans have annual dividend and growth options.
The fund was the first from Franklin Templeton Investments (India) that aimed at capital preservation.
The fund aims to protect investor capital through high quality fixed income securities. It also eyes capital appreciation by investing in equity and equity related instruments.
The new fund offer was open from Oct 31-Nov 30, 2006.
Being a close-ended fund, it does not repurchase units before maturity.
