Banks Board Bureau recommends five for post of PSU bank chiefs

MUMBAI: Banks Board Bureau on Thursday recommended names of five candidates for the post of MD&CEO in public sector banks.

These recommendations were made to the finance ministry after interaction with eligible candidates towards appointment against future vacancies in state run banks for the coming financial year.

These candidates include Sunil Mehta, ED, Corporation Bank, Dina Bandhu Mohapatra, ED, Canara Bank, Rajkiran Rai, ED, Oriental Bank of Commerce, R A Sankara Narayanan, ED, Bank of India and R Subramaniakumar, ED, Indian Overseas Bank.

The government will make the final decision on appointments, the Bureau said in a statement.
