Federal Bank to open its 600th branch tomorrow
Kerala based private sector Federal Bank would open its 600th branch at Kazhakuttam in the district tomorrow, Regional Manager (TVM) R Sivakumar said here on Tuesday.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala based private sector Federal Bank would open its 600th branch at Kazhakuttam in the district tomorrow, Regional Manager (TVM) R Sivakumar said here on Tuesday.
Finance Minister T M Thomas Issac would open the branch, Sivakumar told reporters here. The banks' total business crossed Rs 42,400 crore with deposits over Rs 24,500 crore and loans and advances over Rs 17,900 crore, he said.
With the intention of inculcating banking habits among the downtrodden and to provide them with all modern banking facilities, the bank had launched a special scheme titled "Samrudhi' for adopting individual villages, he said.
The bank would adopt 26 Grama Panchayats under the scheme for total banking inclusion, he said.
