Citigroup said ‍on Tuesday that it ⁠has appointed Ankur Khurana as head of Citi ‌Commercial ‌Bank in India, underscoring ‌the U.S. lender's push to strengthen its full-service commercial banking franchise in Asia.

Khurana brings over two decades ‌of ‍experience advising Indian ‍firms across corporate and investment ‌banking, including senior leadership roles at Standard Chartered and Credit Suisse.

Before joining Citi, ‍she served as managing director and ‍co-head ⁠of ⁠client coverage for India and South Asia at Standard Chartered.
