BoB hands over Rs 58.80 cr dividend to Govt

Bank of Baroda submits the final dividend of Rs 58.80 crore to the government for the financial year 2006-07.

MUMBAI: Public sector major Bank of Baroda has submitted the final dividend of Rs 58.80 crore to the Government of India for the financial year 2006-07.

Bank Chairman and Managing Director Anil K Khandelwal handed over a cheque for the amount to Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram in Delhi today, the bank said in a release.

The interim dividend of Rs 58.80 crores at the rate 30 per cent was paid to the government in March.

The Bank has declared a dividend of 60 per cent on its paid up capital for the financial year 2006-07.
