Bhattacharya appointed SBI MD

India's largest public sector lender State Bank of India today appointed S K Bhattacharya as the Managing Director on the board of the bank, it said here in a posting on the Bombay Stock Exchange.

MUMBAI: India's largest public sector lender State Bank of India today appointed S K Bhattacharya as the Managing Director on the board of the bank, it said here in a posting on the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Bhattacharya has been appointed in place of former Managing Director Yogesh Agarwal who has taken over as Chairman and Managing Director of the IDBI Bank Ltd.
