MUMBAI: Aditya Birla Financial Services Group ( ABFSG), the financial services division of the $29 billion Aditya Birla Group, has set up the state-of-the-art world class operations hub for diverse verticals including life insurance, asset management, distribution & wealth management, security based lending, insurance broking & advisory services, private equity and retail broking under one roof encompassing a carpet area of over 95,000 sq. ft. housing 1,350 seats and about 1,500 workstations.
The facilities include a modern and technologically enabled training and conference room as well as medical centre and bunker beds. The cafeteria can seat 325 employees. The new office is marked by a colourful and vibrant ambience.
In a first-of-its-kind move within the Indian financial sector, ABFSG has specially conceived G-Corp's office interiors with very clear objectives – integration; transparency and openness; vibrancy and enthusiasm. The interiors evoke a feeling of an integrated approach wherein all the walls have the same look and feel across all floors.
All employees across businesses have similar looking access cards. Glass cabins, walls and separators communicate the transparency aspect. Vibrant corporate brand colours have been used across all floors. ABFSG employees have access to hi-tech state-of-the-art communication facilities such as video conferencing and a common training room equipped with all modern technical gadgets. Common cafeteria, travel desk, entertainment and recreational facilities have resulted in cost efficiencies in administration.
