VE Commercial Vehicles sales grow 9.3% in February

NEW DELHI: VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd. (A Volvo Group and Eicher Motors joint venture) has sold 5499 units in February 2017, which is an increase of 9.3% compared to 5032 units sold in February 2016.

Eicher branded trucks and buses have recorded total sales of 5379 units in February 2017 as compared to 4936 units in February 2016 representing a growth of 9%. In the domestic CV market, Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded sales of 4828 units in February 2017 as compared to 4264 units in February 2016 representing a growth of 13.2%.

On the exports front Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded sales of 551 units in February 2017 as compared to 672 units in February 2016 representing a decline of 18 %.

Volvo trucks have recorded sales of 120 units in February 2017 as compared to 96 units in February 2016, representing a growth of 25%.
