Yamaha R15 gets a fresh look: Check price and features here

Yamaha India Motor launched new colour schemes for its popular R15 as a part of 2025 upgrade. This has been done under its ‘The Call of the Blue’ brand campaign. The updated range, which includes the R15M, R15 Version 4 (V4), and R15S, comes at a starting price of Rs 1.67 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The top-variant, R15M, gets a new Metallic Grey finish, while the R15 Version 4 is now offered in a Metallic Black, following strong demand , the company said.

Its Racing Blue shade has been updated with fresh graphics. Yamaha has brought Matte Pearl White colour to India for the first time, exclusively on the R15 V4.


Further, the R15S, will now be available in a stealthy Matte Black paint scheme complemented by contrasting vermillion wheels.

Yamaha has sold over a million R15 units in India till date. The bike is known for its sharp styling, track-inspired performance, and strong racing DNA, as per the company.

The R15 range is powered by Yamaha's 155cc liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine that produces 18.4bhp at 10,000rpm and 14.2Nm of torque at 7,500rpm, paired with the DiASil cylinder and Deltabox frame.

It includes advanced features like traction control system, assist and slipper clutch, quick shifter (on select variants), upside-down front forks, and linked-type mono-cross suspension.

In terms of pricing, the R15M costs Rs 2,01,00 (ex-showroom), while the R15 V4 is priced at Rs 1,84,770 (ex-showroom) and the R15S has a price tag of Rs 1,67,830 (ex-showroom).
