Venu Srinivasan honoured by Korea

Venu Srinivasan, Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Korea, Chennai and Chairman, TVS Motor Company has been appointed as Honorary Commanding Officer of Korean Naval Vessel, ROKS Choi Young (DDH-981).

A certificate of appointment sealed by the Commanding Officer, Captain Kim Hyunil was conferred on Venu Srinivasan during a ceremony held aboard the ship ROKS Choi Young (DDH-981) recently, at Chennai port, in the presence of Republic of Korea Navy Rear Adm. Chun Jung-soo.

The honour was bestowed on Venu Srinivasan in appreciation of his dedication to enhance the friendship and cooperation between the Republic of Korea and the Republic of India, as Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Korea.
